The 2023 IEEE AFRICON Program will include;

9. Exhibitions
10. Tours in and around Nairobi, Kenya

Registration fees include:

A full registration includes access to all parts of the conference: Keynotes, Panels, Workshops, Tutorials, Exhibitions, Special fora, Welcome Reception, Coffee breaks, lunches, (1) Conference Banquet ticket, and the full technical program and proceedings.

A limited registration includes access to some parts of the conference: Keynotes, Panels, Exhibitions, Special fora, Welcome Reception, Coffee breaks, lunches, (1) Conference Banquet ticket, and the full Technical program and proceedings.

A tutorials only registration includes access to the workshops, tutorials and exhibitions only plus Coffee breaks and lunches on the days of the Tutorials. It does not include access to the Keynotes, Panels, Special fora, Welcome Reception, Conference Banquet, Technical program and proceedings.

1. All paper presenters shall pay FULL OR LIMITED registration fees for the conference.
2. For authors with multiple accepted papers, one full or limited registration is valid for up to 3 papers. One author registration will cover the publication expenses of only TWO accepted papers. For each additional accepted paper associated to the same registration (up to 3 papers per registration), 50 USD will be charged.
3. Authors presenting more than 3 papers must pay an additional FULL OR LIMITED registration for the 4th and 5th papers. For each additional accepted paper associated to the same registration, a 50 USD fee will be charged.
4. Where two people want to present papers, each person must pay full or limited registration as per number 2 above depending on the number of papers to be presented.
5. To be published in the IEEE Africon 2023 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore, at least one author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the FULL or LIMITED (member or non-member) rate.
6. Non-IEEE Student Members will pay the Non-Member rate.

Student Authors
In order for a paper to be published, at least one of the authors from each paper must pay the full or limited author registration fee and attend the conference to present the paper.
Therefore, students who author or co-author a paper and are the only author attending the conference will pay a fee comparable to that paid by an IEEE Member or Non-member, not the student rate.
