KSMS
Kenya School of Monetary Studies (KSMS) was established as a School of the Central Bank of Kenya and registered in 1997 as a corporate entity, limited by guarantee; under the Companies Act (Chapter 486 of the Laws of Kenya); with the primary mandate to build capacity for the banking industry and support the Bank deliver on its core mandate of fostering a stable and well-functioning financial system.
Facilities
Nestled in a safe and beautiful environment, KSMS offers premium services for conferences, seminars and workshops. With its over 16 meeting venues that are adequately equipped with the latest audio visual aids, KSMS also offers translation equipment, break-away and secretariat rooms at an extra costs. KSMS can provide team building services, gala dinners, cocktails, tours.
Guests have an option of residing at the modern 250 bed capacity School’s hotel.
Accommodation
There are 250 standard rooms.
They also have cottages and apartments with the following:
- A range of one to three self-contained rooms
- A living cum dining room
- A kitchen and kitchen pantry
- A garden and a parking area for at least two vehicles
KSMS provides:
- Bed and bath linen that are changed every other day
- Furniture and fittings
- Some basic kitchen crockery and cutlery
- Kitchen equipment that comprises of a gas cooker, refrigerator, microwave and an electric kettle
In addition:
- KSMS has a backup power generator
- An a la carte restaurant available for guests who prefer not to cook
- The surrounding environment outside KSMS has malls that offer delivered fast food outlets
